Emily Hourican

Camelot in London

Venue: Courthouse – Meath County Council Stage

After three novels devoted to the Guinness family, novelist, journalist, columnist and broadcaster, Emily Hourican, has switched her attention to Irish-American royalty and the Camelot kingdom of the Kennedy clan. Her focus is not on any of the celebrated Kennedy brothers but on their sister, the open, engaging and charismatic Kathleen ‘Kick’ Kennedy and her troubled relationship with the clan matriarch, Rose, as the Kennedys settle in England (where Joe Kennedy is US Ambassador) and engage with London society, including the Guinnesses. Emily will be in conversation with Eileen Dunne.
