Anne Enright

2007 Booker prizewinning novelist, and Aosdána member (since 2021) Anne Enright returns to Hinterland in the wake of the publication of her eighth novel The Wren, The Wren. Apart from the Booker award in 2007 for The Gathering, Anne is the recipient of a plethora of literary awards, starting with the Rooney Prize in 1991, and is twice a winner of Irish Novel of the Year (for The Gathering and The Green Road). From 2015-2018 Anne was the first Laureate for Irish Fiction. Anne will be in conversation with Eileen Dunne.
