Adapting Emily Hourican’s An Invitation to the Kennedys for the stage

To date our ‘writer in motion’ Matt Spangler’s adaptation sessions have produced two actual plays in Striking Back and The Beekeeper of Aleppo. Each year Matt tackles a text from the festival and describes to an audience (and the author) how he would go about adapting it for the stage. This year he will be joined by novelist Emily Hourican as he gets to grips with her latest work An Invitation to the Kennedys.
